The Personal Data Protection (Act 709) was enforced on 15 November 2013, which regulates the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. The terms “personal data”, “processing” and “commercial transactions” shall have the meaning provided in the PDPA.
Timberland Medical Centre is committed in preserving the privacy and confidentiality of its customers and employees in order to comply with the Personal Data Protection (Act 709), National Archive Act 2003 and Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998.To comply with the law, information must be collected and used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed to any other person unlawfully.
We need your kind co-operation to supply us (TMC) with your personal data. The personal data requested by us is to ensure that we are able to provide our services effectively and efficiently. It may affect the services that we provide to you if you fail to do so.

Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (Akta 709) telah dikuatkuasakan pada 15 November 2013 yang mengawal selia pemprosesan data peribadi dalam transaksi komersil. Istilah Data Peribadi, Pemprosesan dan Transaksi Komersil juga diterangkan maksudnya didalam APDP.
Pusat Perubatan Timberland sangat komited didalam memelihara privasi dan kerahsiaan pelanggan dan pekerjanya untuk mematuhi kehendak yang termaktub didalam Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (Akta 709), Akta Arkib Negara 2003 dan Akta Kemudahan dan Perkhidmatan Jagaan Kesihatan Swasta 1998. Untuk memenuhi kehendak undang-undang, maklumat perlu dikumpulkan, dan digunakan secara telus, disimpan secara selamat dan tidak didedahkan kepada mana-mana pihak yang menyalahi undang-undang.

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. CAN SPAM Act

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
